MAYLISSE MATOS:
As the lead Design Project Engineer, Matos duties included an entire redesign of the tower when last minute modifications needed to be made. Due to the addition of the second elevator and a funding issue, the tower had to be redesigned and put on an expedited contract procure- ment schedule. Her duties on this project were not only to lead her team on a complete redesign on a shortened amount of time, but to oversee the towers procurement process and assign qualified contractors to the project.
STEFANIE JOHNSON:
Johnson has served as resident engineer for eight and a half years, did a detail as a Systems Support Center (SSC) manager, and is currently working as the Terminal Construction Project Engineer for the tower. During construction, Johnsons job consists of overseeing the other regional engineers and serving as a point of communication for head- quarters, program implementation, stakeholders, management and outside agencies.
KELSEY TORCHIA:
Since joining the Terminal Construction Center in 2012, Torchia has been overseeing construction on many replacement tower projects and tower modification projects. She is the projects onsite Resident Engineer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). As the COR, Torchia assists with technical inspections throughout construction, monitors the contractors work for contract compliance and keeps things on track.
