We believe supply chains should be as diverse as the customers they serve. That's why we have a DTE Supplier Diversity team that seeks out local and diverse suppliers. We believe in helping our state and our customers by choosing businesses that support their communities. In 2021, DTE Energy spent $747 million with diverse suppliers which went toward creating jobs in local and diverse communities. Because a supply chain shouldn't just support its customers; it should also represent and connect them.
